Advanced Development Solutions Investment, ADSi Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Limited at the weekend marked its one-year anniversary and launching ceremony.
The event was held in Awka, Anambra state capital termed “vision casting” and award presentation.
ANN reports that ADSi Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Limited, is a member of Anambra State Co-operative and Credit Marketing Union Limited, registered last year 2022 with the vision of becoming the most impactful and transformational cooperative society in Nigeria.
It hopes to achieve this by redefining sustenance, member-care and accelerating grassroots mobilization and development through value-added services, empowerment programmesand strategic Investments, all aimed at enhancing the weil-being and socio-economic welfare of the people.
Governor of Anambra state Prof. Chukwuma Soludo in his speech stated that cooperative is the coming together of people for common intreast and mutual understanding.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Protocol, Mr. Chinedu Nwoye commended the organisation for organizing and initiating such great ideas, assuring ADSi of Anambra state governments support.
Vice President, South East Institute of Co-operatives Professionals of Nigeria, Lady Nora Egwuatu who was the guest speaker at the event appreciated the chairman, ADSi Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Ltd Pastor Ogochukwu Soludo for his efforts.
” As long as co-operative profession is concern, the igbos (ndi Anambra) are leading but unfortunately, they are lacking behind in terms of practicing it but with events like this, their will be improvement. She encourage the audiance to get involve by joining the movement.
Chairman, ADSi Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Ltd, pastor Ogochukwu Soludo in his speech stated that what makes the organization different from others association and groups is the fact that its mode of operations is clear.
Soludo while speaking on the mission and vision of the society, said they aim to promote the welfare and mutual benefit of economic intreast of its members through the implementation of programs and support services and also become the most impactful coperative society in Nigeria.
” There are reasons that motivated us to start this movement. Some people have shown willingness and zeal by pushing themselves to work.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman on the occasion, Prince Chinedu Nsofor, who noted that the grassroot is needed to drive the agenda of the Soludo administration, described the ADSi event as a think-home movement that will help to achieve set objectives of the Governor.
Accountant General of Anambra state Dr. Chukwudi Okoli in an interview with newsmen after the event said cooperative as an independent entity that needs trust worthy to persons to manage funds and that ADSi under Dr. Soludo is in a save hand.
