The member representing Aguata one constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr. Nnamdi Cater Umeh has returned to the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
Dr. Umeh who returned to the APGA from the All Progressives Congress during plenary defected to the APC before the November six 2021 Anambra governorship election.

He tendered apology to all APGA caucus and to the governor for formally decamping to APC he said that there’s no justification for his action.
He regrettably voiced that it was a mistake but he is back home and promise to join hands in making APGA great.
The lawmaker said that there was no justification for him leaving the party and apologized to the leadership of the party for his misbehavior, promising that he will join hands with the leadership of APGA both at national, state and local government levels to move the party to greater heights.

Receiving the legislator back to APGA, Hon Okechukwu Okoye member representing Aguata 2 constituency expressed his happiness in receiving back his brother from Aguata to APGA party.
He said with honorable Dike Umeh joining back to APGA there will be dividend of democracy in Anambra state.
Honourable Okechukwu Okoye stated that APGA will be happy for receiving Carter back home and assured him that he will be treated with kindhearted like other members of the party and commended him for taking the bold step.
