Aguata Mayor Returns To Classroom, Secures Admission At UNIZIK

The Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area, of Anambra State, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, has announced his return to the classroom after securing admission to study Law at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

The Mayor who made the announcement in a post shared on his official Facebook page, described the development as a new phase in his personal growth and public service journey, adding that the admission marks the beginning of another experience in his continuous pursuit of knowledge.

Dr. Ofobuike noted that despite his active involvement in politics and governance in the past three years, the classroom remains an environment he looks forward to with humility and excitement.

The local government boss said the decision to study Law aligns with his long-term aspiration to serve his people more effectively. He expressed confidence that the next five years of academic training will equip him with deeper knowledge of the legal system and strengthen his capacity to contribute meaningfully to governance and community development in Aguata and beyond.

“I look forward to the next five years of my formation to become a legal practictioner driven by the zeal to know more in order to offer more for my people in Aguata LGA.

School shall we? For us in Aguata LGA, Impossibility is Nothing,” he concluded.

Describing the moment as a bold step forward, he hinted that his journey back to the university symbolizes a reminder that leadership must remain rooted in learning. He ended his message with an enthusiastic call to readiness “School shall we?” and reaffirmed the philosophy that has guided his administration in Aguata: Impossibility is Nothing.

Reflecting on his political engagements so far, the Aguata Mayor pointed out that he has dedicated the last three years to intense grassroots mobilization and leadership, overseeing four major elections in the local government area, which include the 2023 General Elections,
the 2024 Local Government Elections, the 2025 Anambra South Senatorial Bye-election, and most recently, the 2025 Anambra Governorship Election.

According to him, returning to school after this stretch of political responsibilities is both refreshing and purpose-driven.
