Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in-charge of Zone 13 Ukpo, Anambra State, Godwin Ndidi Aghaulor on Tuesday 7th January 2025, decorated fifteen (15) who were recently promoted.
The newly promoted and decorated Police officers are; DCP Christopher Bassy, DCP Paul Dung, DCP DeDe Osunwanu, ACP Odumu Willams Robinson, ACP Glory Agbor Otonko, CSP Ihunwo Josephine, CSP Awada Chris Chika, CSP Henry Mumonwu Alor, SP
Courage Chukwuemeka Okoronkwo, DSP Nwachukwu Okay Nwachukwu, DSP Felix
Nwagada, DSP Onwuli Lukson, Onwaogwugwu Ogechi, DSP Victoria Anidozie and DSP Benjamin Chinedu
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that the AIG alongside Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam with other top police officers decorated the newly promotees in an event held at the Zonal headquarters in Ukpo, Dunukofia LGA.
In his speech after the decoration, Aghaulor reminded the promoted officers
of the increased level of responsibility that came with their new rank. The AIG encouraged them to exhibit higher wisdom in there actions and decision making processes as they lead their their subordinates.
AIG Aghaulor emphasizes that the promotion was a testament of the hardwork and dedication the officers had displayed throughout their careers. He expressed gratitude to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetoken for recomending their promotions.
In a vote of thanks, DCP Paul Dung expressed gratitude to God, the IGP, Anambra Commissioner of Police for their roles in their promotion and decoration. He assured that they will re-double their efforts and remain dedicated to their duties.
” Promotion is an additional weight to the promotee, and we have decided amongst ourselves to take the bull my the horn. The responsibilities that has been bestowed on us havy but we will not disappoint.
Speaking in an interview, ACP Odumu Williams Robinson, CSP Ihunwo Josephine and SP Courage Chukwuemeka Okoronkwo said the promotion is divine and a blessing from God, stating that It is attached to hardwork and responsibility.
