South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes popularly known as AKA is dead.
AKA was shot dead in a drive-by shooting on Florida Road, Durban, South Africa late Friday night.

1. AKA was born on January 1988 and raised in Cape Town, South Africa.
2. AKA and two of his friends formed a group called ‘Entity’ in 2002 and was disbanded in 2006. The group received a nomination for a KORA award.
3. He gained recognition after releasing his single “Victory Lap” from his debut studio album, Altar Ego in 2010.
4. He was featured as a special guest on Word Wrestling Entertainment Live events, held in Johannesburg and Cape Town in April 2018.
5. AKA won a total of 16 awards in his career.
AKA was 35 years old.
