Bolanle Austen Peter’s ‘Man of God’ is leading Nigerian delegations ahead of the 2022 Africa Movie Academy Awards.
‘Man of God,’ which features Akah Nnani and Osas Ighodaro follows South Africa’s feature film, ‘Surviving Gaza,’ and Ghana’s ‘Borga’ that lead the awards nominations with 14 nominations each. The two films got nominated in 14 different categories out of the AMAAs’ 26 categories.
Other Nigerian films topping the nominations include ‘Jolly Roger’ with nominations in eight different categories and Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Swallow,’ which earned itself nominations in seven categories.
