Anambra state house of assembly has approved for Governor Chukwuma Soludo to access the sum of two billion Naira loan from the Federal Government.
Member representing Anaocha two constituency Hon. Ejike Okechukwu moved a motion for the 8th assembly to approval that the loan be accessed for the services of ndi Anambra. He was seconded by Hon. Nobel Igwe (Ogbaru one).
ANN reports that Governor Chukwuma Soludo in a letter sent to the 8th assembly read by the Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze requested for approval of the loan.
Governor Soludo in the letter, informed the lawmakers that the state received two billion loan from the federal government as palliative for fuel subsidy removal.
According to the letter, fiften percent (15) of the two billion loan received will be paid by the federal government while the state government will repay fourty-eight (48) percent which is of zero percent intreast rate.
