According to Hon. Ngobili, who is the member representing Ihiala one constituency “Igwe Onyckonwu Road And Benbella Umuchima Amorka Uli Road are all major roads that are of economic importance to Ihiala and Anambra in general.

” These roads had been previously awarded in the past starting from the Chinwoke Mbadinuju’s administration through Chris Ngige, Peter Obi and Willie Obiano’s administration without completion

” The non completion of these roads which happens to serve as a link to the commercial focal point of Ihiala in particular and Anambra in general, has helped to expose the roads and area to brutal erosion and ditches thus causing more hazards to the people and resulting to utilization of more money by the state in curtailing the erosion and ditches..

” If the Government could continue and speedily complete the ongoing construction works on these roads namely the Igwe Onyckonwu Road and Benbella Umuchima Amorka Uli Road, it will go a long way to promote commercial activities, support farmers to be more productive since it will relieve their means of transportation of farm products and thus generate more IGR for the State.

In there separate submissions Hon. Hon. Golden Iloh, Minority leader Hon. Johnbosco Akaegbobi,
Hon. Ejike Okechukwu, Hon. Igwe Noble, Minority Whip Hon. Obu Paul and Majority leader Hon. Ikenna Ofodeme spoke in favour of the motion
