Anambra state house of assembly on Thursday at plenary confirmed Mr. Izuchukwu Moses Okafor and Mrs. Beverly Nkemdiche Ikpeazu as commissioners.
Mr. Okafor was confirmed as Commissioner for Finance; Mrs. Ikpeazu was confirmed as the Commissioner for Special Duties.
ANN recalls that Governor Chukwuma Soludo in a letter addressed to the Anambra state house of assembly read by the Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze at plenary on Wednesday demanded for comfirmation of the two nominees.
The nominees where referred to the house screening committee chaired by the deputy speaker Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Okoye before they where confirmed.
