Anambra Assembly Commend Soludo On Completion Of Marine, Akpaka GRA, Federal Housing Estate To 3-3 Expressway Road

The Anambra State House of Assembly has commends Governor Chukwuma Soludo on the completion of the Marine, Akpaka GRA, and Federal Housing Estate to 3-3 Expressway Road in line with his promise to the constituents.

Sponsor of the motion Hon. Patrick Okafor, member representing Onitsha North two constituency in his submission  stated that Marine, Akpaka G.R.A, and Federal Housing to 3-3 Express-way road carries a high volume of traffic due to its linkage to and exit from Onitsha and so many residential estates connected to the road. 

According to Okafor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo had during his campaign tours at Onitsha North, promised to construct and complete the Marine, Akpaka G.R.A. and Federal Housing to 3-3 Express way Road. 

” Previous administration made similar promises without fulfilling them but the completion of the Marine, Akpaka GRA, Federal Housing to 3-3 express way road by Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration has brought smiles and excitement to the faces of the Onitsha North Constituents who are at the receiving end of the traffic gridlock occasioned by the bad nature of this important road. 

” Those that leave within the axis of this road, will understand how bad this road has been for a very long time. 

” This road is very key and important because it serves as an exit road to soo many commutters who are traveling out of Onitsha and it is a thing of joy and excitement because the road has been completed”.

Speaking in support of the motion, Hon. Patrick Udoba (Anambra West), Hon. Ejike Okechukwu (Anaocha two), Deputy Majority Leader Hon. Jude Akpua (Njikoka two), Hon. Augustine Ike (Nnewi North),

Hon. Obi Nweke (Anambra East) and Hon. Emma Nwafor (Orumba South) thanked Soludo for keeping his promise to the people of Onitsha North two constituency.

” Onitsha is a business area and this road will help movement to flow conveniently. It will also enhence revenue in the state. 

“This shows that Governor Soludo is a man of his words because he is fulfilling his campaign promises”.

Anambra Assembly Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Chulwuma Okoye who presided plenary, commended the sponsor of the motion. 

” We all know that Governor Chukwuma Soludo declared a state of emergency on Anambra roads and has been working in all parts of the state. We commend him’. Okoye stated.

Hon. Patrick Okafor in an interview after plenary while thanking Governor Soludo, encouraged him to do more. 

Hon. Okafor stated that “some roads in my constituency require attention considering the fact that Onitsha is a commercial city that requires alot of movements. More roads needs to be constructed and rehabilitated and am sure the Governor  will answer us when we come begging.
