Anambra Assembly Commends Progress Of Work On Ekwulobia Flyover, Other Road Projects

Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Works and Infrastructure has commended the pace and quality of construction on the ongoing Ekwulobia flyover project by the Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the commendation came from the Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Emma Nwafor following an inspection of the project site by the Committee during an oversight visit to assess the progress and standards being adhered to in the construction.

Hon. Nwafor, the Member representing Orumba South Constituency at the State House of Assembly, expressed satisfaction with the progress being made and the quality of materials used in the construction, affirming that they meet the required standards.

The lawmaker alongside the member representing Anambra West Constituency, Hon. Patrick Udoba and Hon. Golden Iloh, representing Ihiala Constituency Two
informed the contractors of the importance of maintaining the current pace and standard to ensure timely completion of the flyover, which he said is a critical infrastructure project aimed at improving traffic flow and boosting economic activities in the region.

Nwafor, reassured ndi Anambra that the State House of Assembly will continue to monitor the project closely to ensure it is delivered on time and to the expected quality, thereby fulfilling Governor Soludo’s commitment to infrastructural development and the welfare of the people of the State.

In a similar development, the Committee also inspected Ajalli-Nawfija-Ufuma-Ogbunka road, and Ezira-Enuguumuonyia-Umuomaku, -Achina road.

The Committee, after making some observations, instructed the contractors to tidy up their work and complete it within the given timeframe.
