Anambra state house of assembly at plenary held a valedictory session in honour of the lawmaker who represented Njikoka South Central Constituency late Hon. Silvester Nwabu Alor
Anambra Speaker, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor while commiserating with the immediate family, described Late Hon. Silvester Nwabu Alor as a great politician and public servant who leaved a modest and fillfuled life full of positive political activities. He also distinguished himself in political affairs and was rooted in the culture of his people and believed that nothing is impossible with determination.
“His political career was beneficial to the masses. He used his various positions to improve the leaves of the masses. He maid giant strides in the development of his hometown Agulu, Anambra state and Nigeria at large. He empowered alot of people especially through employment, business. He was a man of the people and a selfless politician. His life and times remain a source of inspiration to many people. He left legacies worthy of emulation in various works of life ”
In there separate tribute, Hon. Ebele Ejiofor, Ejike Okechukwu, Pete Ibida, Carter Dike Umeh, Emeka Aforka and Nonso Smart Okafor stated that the demise of Silvester Alor has left a very big vacuum that will be difficult to fill.
The lawmakers described late Alor as a man of intergrity who have mentored many politicians. A brain box, an iroko, full with experience, a disciplinerian, doggard and principled politician who was relevant and contributed imeansly to the growth of Anambra state.
“Many of us where his subjects and we gained experiences from him. He was always there to support morally and financially. Who every that gets in contact with him must benefit from his advice and wealth of experience. He is always wearing white dress which Signifies purity and righteousness. He is a goal getter, and a community builder, strategic thinker who leaved a fulfilled life with Legacies.
They prayed God to give his immediate family the fortitude to bear the lost and that they should take solace with the fact that he leaved a good life.
