Anambra Assembly Majority Leader ‘Ofodeme’ Sponsors Four Bills

Anambra State House of Assembly Majority Leader Honorable Ikenna Ofodeme on Thursday February 15, 2024 at plenary sponsored four bills which were read for the first time.

Hon. Ofodeme who is the member representing Ekwusigo constituency sponsored ‘a bill to establish the health facilities monitoring and accreditation agency and for connected purposes’ was read for the first time.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Ofodeme also sponsored ‘a bill for a law to provide for the prohibition of touting and related activities in all sectors in Anambra state’.

The Majority Leader also sponsored ‘a bill for a law to establish the Anambra state public complains, financial crime and anti corruption commission and for related purposes’.

Also, ‘A bill for a law to provide for the administration of urban development and regeneration, physical planning and building control in Anambra state and for connected purposes’, which was sponsored by Hon. Ofodeme, and scaled through first reading.

The house adjourned to Tuesday February 20, 2024.
