Anambra Assembly Polls: Nteje Women Pledge Total Support For Ajuluchukwu

Ahead of Saturday’s March 18th elections, mothers and daughters of Nteje have passed a vote of confidence on their son, Onyebuchi Johnpaul Ajuluchukwu (ỌJA), candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), as they believe he is the most competent, credible and qualified candidate to represent Oyi constituency at the Anambra state House of Assembly.

In a meeting with Ajuluchukwu they women said they are supporting the ZLP candidate because it is the turn of Nteje town to produce the next House of Assembly member of Oyi Constituency and because Nteje had supported other towns to other elective positions over the years.

“Oyi LGA has 3 political zones and Njete with five wards is referred to as zone A. Awkuzu with four wards is zone B while

Umunya/Ogbunike/Nkwele is grouped into zone C.

“Presently, Ogbunike which is in zone C was declared the winner for the House of Reps. Zone C had also produced Chuba Okadigbo and his wife in the senate. While Vivian Okadigbo had been in the state assembly.

“Umunya which is also in zone C had produced a House of Reps and House of Assembly members in the past. Awkuzu has equally produced a House of Reps member, including LG chairmen and have held other political positions. This endorsement has sealed the fate of other candidates in Oyi. They maintained.
