Anambra State House of Assembly has reshuffle some of the committee chairman and their deputies.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, the Speaker of the 8th assembly made the announcement at plenary before adjournment.
The following changes were adopted; Agriculture Committee was chaired by Hon. Golden Iloh and the new Chairman is Hon. Chimezie Ikwune.
Homeland and Boundary Matters Committee was chaired by Hon. Jude Umenajiego while the new chairman is Hon. Udemezie Bernard.
Environment Committee was chaired by Hon. Fred Ezenwa, the new chairman is Hon. Chuks Azotani.
Transport Committee had Hon. Fred Ezenwa as the deputy chairman, the new deputy chairman is Hon. Augustine Ike
Pilgrimage and Religious Matters Committee was chaired by Hon. Udemezie Bernard, the new chairman is Hon. Jude Umenajiego.
Information, Creative Economy and Technology Committee was chaired by Hon. Chuks Azotani, the new chairman is Hon. Fred Ezenwa.
Women and Social Welfare Committee had Hon. Augustin Ike as the deputy chairman, the new deputy chairman is Hon. Fred Ezenwa.
Power and Water Resources Committee had Hon. Chimezie Ikwune as the chairman and Hon. Nkechi Ogbuefi as the deputy, the new chairman is Hon. Iloh Golden and Hon. Innocent Ojike is the new deputy.
CSO’s, Entertainment and Labour Matters Committee had Hon. Innocent Ojike as the deputy chairman, the new deputy chairman is Hon. Nkechi Ogbuefi.
The Speaker urged the acting clark and secreteries to take of the changes.
Rt. Hon. Udeze thanked all the members of the 8th assembly and the staff for their dedication and commitment to legislative responsibilities.
