The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze has described the Acting Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, (COOU) Professor Kate Omenugha as a renowned academic and reputable university administrator.
Angel Network News reports that Udeze in his Goodwill Message to Omenugha on her birthday, on behalf of the State Legislature, lauded her achievements in her teaching career at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University,Awka where she distinguished herself among her contemporaries especially in Mass Communication department.
The Speaker who expressed satisfaction with the excellent service rendered by Prof. Omenugha to the State government as Commissioner, enjoined her to continue to uphold hard work and dedication to duty even as she pilots the affairs of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University as the Acting Vice Chancellor.
He noted that Prof.Omenugha has used her positions at different levels to impact meaningfully on the society as well the development of the State.
Udeze while praying God to continue to direct the affairs and life of Prof.Omenugha and to also give her long life and good health, wished her more eventful years ahead.
