The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze has said that the State Deputy Governor, Dr.Onyeka Ibezim’s loyalty, dedication and hard work have fetched him a second term as Governor Chukwuma Soludo considered his reliable qualities and accepted to run his second term with him, which epitomizes the high trust bestowed on him
In his Birthday Message to Dr. Ibezim, Rt. Hon. Udeze noted that the Deputy Governor has in the past eleven years, been contributing to the development of the State, having served as Special Adviser on Youths and Indigenous Medicine respectively, medical officer in charge of the State’s Oxygen plant at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku Awka, and now the Deputy Governor.
The Speaker who acknowledged with great satisfaction that the Deputy Governor Ibezim had a glorious Public Service career as a Medical Director in the Federal Ministry of Defense, enjoined him to continue to work cordially with his Boss, Governor Soludo in the interest of peace and development of the State.
Rt. Hon. Udeze while praying God to grant Dr. Ibezim longevity, good health, strength and wisdom to be able to carry on with his responsibilities, wished him more eventful years ahead.
