Anambra Assembly Speaker ‘Udeze’ Felicitates With Anglican Women On Mothering Sunday

The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze has described mothers as veritable instruments for the propagation of God’s work.

In his Goodwill Message to all Anglican Women in the State on the celebration of

this year’s Mothering Sunday, Rt. Hon. Udeze expressed satisfaction that they have contributed immensely towards the development of their various churches through meaningful programmes and activities.

The Speaker enjoined the Anglican women to emulate the Biblical virtuous women like Esther, Mary and Martha as well as Dorcas and Ruth among others, adding that their genuine service to God and humanity will be rewarded accordingly.

He changed them to shun acts capable of smearing their reputation as Christian Mothers but to uphold those virtues that glorify God.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Rt. Hon. Udeze called on fathers to continue to provide adequate security, love and care for their wives and join hands with them in building peaceful and progressive homes.
