Anambra State House of Assembly has asked the Transition Chairman of Onitsha South Mr. Emeka Orji and the Commissioner of Environment Engr. Felix Odimegwu to come for questioning on Tuesday February 6th 2024 to clarify the allegations brought against them.
The member representing Onitsha South one constituency Hon. Fred Ezenwe through a matter of urgent importance draw the attention of the lawmakers to the alligations against duo.

According to Hon. Ezenwe, the allagations are of intimidation, harassment and arrest of waste contractors.
” Based on the weighty nature of the allegation and the need to urgently address the issue so as to maintain law and order, and clear collection of IGR in the state, both Mr. Emeka Orji and Engr. Felix Odimegwu be made to appear before at plenary on Tuesday February 6th 2024.
” This is in line with the provision of the law in section one sub section six of the federal republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended.
Hon. Patrick Udoba (Anambra West) and Hon. Nobel Igwe (Ogbaru one) supported that the duo appear before the lawmakers for questioning.

Anambra Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze asked the acting clark of the house Mr. Okechukwu Nwobi to get the letters ready and deliver before the close of work.
