Anambra State Peace Building and Conflict Management Agency bill 2020 sponsored by the deputy majority leader, Hon. Emeka Aforka, will be considered and read for the second time in the next plenary.
Majority leader Rt. Hon. Pete Ibida moved the motion for the bill to be stepped down and was seconded by member representing Nnewi South 1 constituency Hon. Sonny Ozobialu.
The lawmakers will next Tuesday, May 30, also consider a joint report by the committees on education and that of judiciary on a bill for a law to regulate activities in tertiary institutions established and controlled by Anambra government or operating within the state.
Hon. Ibida moved the motion for the bill to be stepped down and he was seconded by member representing Onitsha South 1 constituency Hom. Uzoma Eli.
The legislators will also on the next plenary consider the report of the house committee on health on a bill for a law to ensure the safety, health and welfare of factory workers and all persons present at the factory.

The member representing Njikoka 2 constituency Hon. Pete Ibida again moved a motion for the bill to be stepped down and he was seconded by the member representing Ogbaru 1 constituency, Hon. Chukwunonso Igwe.
Ibida also moved a motion for the stepping down to the next adjourned date, the consideration of the report on the house committee on public utilities on a bill for a law to establish the Anambra State power and rural electricity agency. He was seconded by Hon. Charles Obimma the member representing Oyi constituency.
The member representing Ogbaru 1 constituency Hon. Chukwunonso Igwe urged the clerk of the assembly, to distribute the bills and reports due for consideration to the lawmakers so they can study them ahead of the adjourned date
