The Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, Prince Neville Uchendu, in company of Ihite community stakeholders has presented the Igwe-elect Chief Timothy Ifurunwa to Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Mr Tonycollins Nwabunwanne in his office.

Congratulating Ihite community for the peaceful exercise that led to the emergence of Chief Timothy Ifurunwa, Mr Nwabunwanne maintained that despite the shenanigans of few individuals, the Soludo administration is determined to entrench peace in Anambra communities by ensuring peaceful handover of power.

Commissioner Nwabunwanne maintained that the presence of development projects in a community shows there is effective leadership.

Earlier while presenting Chief Ifurunwa to the Commissioner, the Orumba TC Chairman, Prince Uchendu, said he gave recognition to the emergence of Chief Ifurunwa because laid down rules were followed, and urged other communities that will be electing leaders in future to emulate Ihite community as Governor Soludo would want.
