Ndi Nkwelle-Ezunaka who has been without a king for almost twenty-three years since after the demise of Igwe Raphael Nwakoby has been in joyful mood since after the election of Ogbuefi Obiora Anachuna about two weeks ago.
The election which took place at Hilltop Primary School, Nkwelle-Ezunaka was adjudged to be free, fair and credible with presence of the press, State and Local Government representatives, including security operatives.
Anachuna defeated former President-General of Nkwelle-Ezunaka Improvement Union and ex Anambra State Ohanaeze Chairman, Ogbuefi Chris Eluemunor and Ogbuefi Damian Odiche to second and third positions.
ANN gathered that indigenes of Nkwelle-Ezunaka are all in high spirit to witness the coronation of a new king after twenty-three years.
President-General, Nkwelle-Ezunaka Improvement Union, Ogbuefi Willie Okafor who spoke to newsmen said that invitees are all welcomed to the coronation of Anachuna as Igwe of Nkwelle-Ezunaka.
Ogbuefi Okafor said that the people of Nkwelle-Ezunaka have decided on who should be their next king and warned all trouble makers to stay away from their nefarious plans to further heat- up the community.
