Anambra CP Meets Strategic Officers, Reiterates Need For Law Enforcement

Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam has address strategic officers of the Command and renews action plans for the respective Area Commands and tactical Units, aimed at repositioning Officers and for an Improved and better security service delivery in the State.

While addressing the Officers in his office at the Command Headquarters, Awka, CP
Itam charged police officers to be more responsive and committed to duty. He directs the creation of training officers at the Area Command level to retrain Officers serving in the Police Divisions in areas of Police duties, musketry, and otherwise. He also advocates the need to work with other security agencies for a well-coordinated positioning to respond to security incidents in the State.

Similarly, the CP paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 13 Headquarters AIG Godwin Aghaulor, the supervisory Commander of both Anambra State Command and Enugu Command to notify the AIG of his assumption and also familiarize with the senior officers of the Zone.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that officers in attendance includes the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance & Administration of the Zone, DCP Agili Joseph, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations DCP Sylvester Adeji, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Criminal Investigations of the Zone DCP Iya Muhammed, others.
