The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim has decoratrd his escort commander, Inspector Uniumu Godfrey, with his new rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
Angel Network News (ANN) gathered that
the decoration took place at the office of the Deputy Governor with a brief ceremony joined by the newly promoted officer’s wife Mrs. Uniumu and other well-wishers within the office.
Decorating the officer, Dr. Ibezim adorned the new ASP with his insignia, marking a significant milestone in his career. He congratulated ASP Godfrey on his well-deserved promotion, acknowledging his dedication and hard work and encouraged him to continue serving with distinction and never relent in upholding the highest standards of the Nigeria Police Force.
On his part ASP Godfrey Uniumu while speaking expressed gratitude to God, appreciates the support from wife, promising to continue serving with loyalty and commitment as required by the force.
Witnessed by the the information commissioner of the state Sir. Paul Nwosu, the promotion and decoration ceremony was a moment of joy and celebration for ASP Godfrey, his family, and fellow colleagues in the security force.
