The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim has been conferred with a chieftaincy title, Ekwueme Amansea, by the traditional ruler of Amansea community HRM Igwe Peter Chukwuma Anigbogu.
Speaking while receiving the certificate, Dr. Ibezim expressed deep gratitude to the traditional ruler and the people of Amansea for the honour accorded to him. He described the chieftaincy title as a call to greater service and responsibility.
The Deputy Governor appreciated Governor Chukwuma Soludo, acknowledging his leadership and support. He stated that the recognition would further motivate him to work even harder in the service of the state, especially as preparations for the next term draw near.
Dr. Ibezim retraited his commitment to supporting the state Governor’s vision of sustainable development and inclusive governance, while pledging continued loyalty to the people of Anambra State as he siezed the opportunity to thank the good people of Amansea for their support during the last gubernatorial election.
