The Anambra Football Association Chairman Gen. Chikelue Iloenyosi has mourn late Coach Uche Okagbue who died after a brief illness at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital Nnewi.
Angel Network News reports that untill his death, late Okagbue was the Head Coach of Nigeria National League side owned, by Anambra state government, Solution FC of Awka.
Iloenyosi described the former FC Ifeanyi Ubah coach as one driven by passion who was professional in his dealings with players and coaches alike.
According to Iloenyosi this is a testament in Okagbue’s glittering coaching career that saw him tutor in some of the best club sides in the country and mentored some of the best players as well.
The Former Super Eagles player paid condolences to the Anambra state government and the entire team of Solution FC on this irreparable loss. Iloenyosi described how important Okagbue was to the team and the entire Anambra football community.
He urged all to remember Okagbue in their prayers as he prayed for the good repose of his soul.
There will be a minute silence in both NNL games this weekend at the Awka City stadium involving the two Anambra based clubs as well next weekend in the finals of the Solution Community Shield Tournament.
