Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA) has unveiled Monfes Pharmaceuticals Limited as the official sponsors of the 2025 edition of the annual Anambra State All Stars Football Competition.
Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the unveiling ceremony was held last weekend.
Anambra State Football Association Chairman Chikelue ‘General’ Iloenyosi said Monfes Pharmaceuticals will bring a fresh breath of life, glamour and conviality to the competition exclusively reserved for retired players of over 40 years of age.
Iloenyosi, a former Nigeria international,
described the sponsorship as a great ‘plus’ for the tournament that has become a household event in the state’s football calendar.
Presently, registration for this year’s edition expected to commence on April 7, 2025 with a fee of N70, 000 with April 30 pegged as closing date for registration.
ANN gathered that the overall winners will go home with N1m (one million Naira) while second and third placed teams will receive N500, 000 (five hundred thousand Naira) and N300, 000 (three hundred thousand Naira) respectively.
