The Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, will organise a Novelty match on August 1, 2026 at the FC Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium, Ozubulu Road, Nnewi. in honour of late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
According to ANSFA Media, the match is part of activities marking the second memorial anniversary of the former ANSFA Chairman.
As part of the second memorial activities, the Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi-led ANSFA has concluded arrangements for the novelty match to keep alive his sporting legacy.
Late Senator Ifeanyi served as Chairman of Anambra State Football Association and President of FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
His emergence as ANSFA Chairman sparked a chain of positive developments in the state’s football sector.
