Anambra Gov’t Raises Standard Of Infrastructure At Uga Boys High School

Anambra State Housing Commissioner, Hon. Pauly Onyeka has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction at Boy’s Secondary School , Uga in Aguata Local Government Area.

Hon. Onyeka while speaking during an
inspection tour, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Engr. Obi Okonkwo and other key management staff in the Ministry, expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work at the school.

The Housing Commissioner confirmed that the roofing materials used in the roofing met the required 0.55 gauge of specification, which is a critical benchmark for structural safety and durability at any public building.

Commissioner Onyeka applauded the contractors compliance to the guild lines and urged them to make amendments on the areas dictated, while sustaining the pace and standard of work already established.

“If your work is under the the supervision of ministry of Housing, you have to be cautious, even when you are doing your best.

Hon. Onyeka commended Prof. Charles Soludo, describing him as a rare leader with unmatched dedication, saying that even in peak of election season, the Governor still have time to work late into the night.

In his remark, the Managing Director of Packrange Construction Company, Engr. Pius Akam, who spook on behalf of other contractors, thanked the Governor Soludo
for his vision and assured the Ministry of full compliance with all the corrections and timely deliverance.
