Anambra Govt To Recruit 2,500 Teachers

…The Commissioner also announced that the ministry will donate books to the school’s library.

The Commissioner for Education Anambra state, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh says 

two thousand five hundred teachers, in addition to the five thousand already recruited in 2022 will be added.

Chuma-Udeh made this announcement at the official handover of Umuji Community College, Ebenebe, Awka North Local Government Area to the state government.

The Commissioner noted that when Governor Soludo declared a state of emergency on Anambra roads, he also declared an emergency on the educational sector, resulting in the massive recruitment of teachers.

While commending Ebenebe community for taking the initiative to secure their children’s future by constructing the college, Professor Chuma-Udeh advised other communities to emulate Ebenebe.
