Anambra First Lady Mrs Nonye Soludo has said that the current administration in the state will always support individuals and organizations with productive human capital development focus and goals.
The Governor’s wife, stated this at Saint John Innovation Institute of Management and Technology (JIIMATECH), Neni, during the 2023 graduation and exhibition ceremony of the school.
Speaking shortly after taking a tour of the exhibition stands where the students displayed their handmade products, Mrs Soludo praised the institution for the standards of its trainings, evidenced in the quality of products made by the students.
She promised that the state government will continue to assist institutions that have special focus on human capital development, especially those that have the youths as their primary target.
Mrs Soludo urged the students to remain focus and to take advantage of the opportunities provided by social media to market their skills and products.Â
The Rector of the school, Reverend Father Raymond Umennajiuba, whose address was presented by the deputy Rector, Reverend Father Mike Oguno said that one of the primary visions of the institution is to promote the culture of industry and self-sufficiency, and to teach them basic skills for self and societal development.
JIIMATECH is mission-owned entrepreneurial institute that was established to offer alternative training for youths in different skill areas including cosmetology, fashion and design, bakery and confectionery, among others.
