Anambra State Housing Commissioner Hon. Pauly Onyeka has commended activities of The Nigeria Institute of Builder Association (NIOB) attesting that they are doing well by creating more value for the building profession in the State.
Hon. Onyeka disclosed this when the National Executive of the association paid him a courtesy visit at his Jerome Udorji Secretary office Complex Awka to intimate him about the up coming National Conference in the State .
The Commissioner said that recently staff in the building maintenance and construction department of Housing recieved price for the best performing staff in the State as well as the entire ministry of Housing. He assured them of his full support and present at the National Conference in the State.
According to him “the solution team are around to give you the solution refreshments , l know that you choice of selecting Anambra is simply because you know that the solution team would be around to welcome you and treat you to our hospitality”.
Earlier in her opening remarks, The National vice President of the Association Mrs. Enebe Eucharia expressed satisfaction at the warm reception extended to them by the commissioner ,and for creating of additional department of Building Construction and Maintenance in the ministry of Housing , which she said , has given the building profession in the State fame .
She appluded the State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo on his performance and transforming the state positively with in a short period in office .
Delivering vote of thanks , The National Publicity Secretary Mr. Peter Ameh thanked the Commissioner for supporting the hosting of the AGM of the Association in the State , adding also that shelter plays very significant value in life , he said that with the team of builders around him in the department will give him the desired services to drive the State forward.
