The Anambra Internal Revenue Service (AIRS) has arrested four persons in Onitsha for engaging in revenue collection without the legal right to do so.
Angel Network News gathered that the
suspects are: Ikenna Udoji, Kosi Iwobi, Chidera Ogbogu, and Monday, they were arrested while collecting money ranging from one thousand, two hundred naira from keke riders opposite Army Gate.

According to the AIRS Special Squad Commander, Mr. Nathan Obikwelu, the suspects, who have been charged to court, contravened Anambra State Government law that bans illegal collection of revenue from tricycle riders and commercial bus operators.
Mr. Obikwelu maintained that the arrest also aligns with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s directive that there must be no more illegal cash collection in Anambra State.
