Anambra Lawmaker ‘Akpua’ Construct Lock-up Shops, Borehole In Abba

The Member representing Njikoka Constituency Two at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Akpua has constructed a seven-room lock-up shop and borehole at Abba in Njikoka Council Area.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Akpua who is also the Deputy Majority Leader of the 8th Assembly handed over the project to Abba Town Union as part of his constituency projects.

Hon. Akpua, reaffirmed his commitment to continue fulfilling the promises he made to his people and said he is bent to do more for the development of his constituency.

The lawmaker disclosed other projects currently going on in his constituency such as installation of streetlights, borehole projects which are all in line with the vision of Government Soludo towards developing the state.

The Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze
who commissioned the project, described the Deputy Majority Leader him as one who has the interest of his people at heart.

The President General of Abba Town Union, Mr. Alexander Ekwuagana and a stakeholder from the community, Sir Isaac Nwafor, said they were impressed with the project and that the projects have huge economic value for the community,

Also, another stakeholder from the community, Chief Godwin Ekwealor and Mr. Francis Obidike from Nimo, commended the lawmaker for embarking on the project, urging him to continue to sustain the tempo as ndi Njikoka are solidly behind him.

Some traders: Mrs Ogechukwu Okafor and Miss Chinonye Agu thanked Akpua for coming to their aid by embarking on the project, praying for God’s blessings upon him.
