The lawmaker representing Aguata one Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Anayo Okpalaeke has
distributed over eight thousand (8,000) doses of deworming tablets across nursery and primary schools
Hon. Okpalaeke who is the House Committee Chairman on education, while speaking during the distribution of the drugs across Aguata one Constituency said the intervention is part of his continuous efforts to promote the health and well-being of children
“Worm infestation remains one of the silent threats to child growth and academic performance, and I am glad that today, we have taken a bold and practical step toward addressing it.
“I want to sincerely appreciate the Ministry of Health and of Education together with ASUBEB for their approval, guidance, and support throughout this exercise.
“Their commitment to public health and child welfare continues to inspire confidence in our collective mission.
“I must also thank my good brother, Dr. Nwora Okpalaeke, whose selfless partnership and unwavering support were instrumental in making this outreach a reality. His passion for community health is admirable, and we are proud to have worked with him.
“To my dedicated team, I say thank you for your hard work, coordination, and commitment to duty. You ensured that this program was not just planned, but executed excellently.
