Anambra Lawmaker ‘Igwe’ Renovates Schools In Idemili South Constituency

The member representing Idemili South constituency Hon. Ebuka Igwe has embarked on massive reconstruction and renovation of primary and secondary schools in his constituency.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Hon. Igwe while speaking during his visitation to Unity Secondary school, Nnokwa, maintained thay he was not comfortable over the dilapidated condition of some of the schools, hence his decision to intervene and promised to renovate the school and exam hall.

The Lawmaker stated that, his interest is for the constituents and that he wishes students to study in a conductive environment, have access to portable water and easy access to health care services. 

Hon. Igwe added that, he will continue to do his best to give umu Idemili South good representation and touch their lives in a positive way.

The School management lauded Hon. Ebuka Igwe for his kind gesture, prayed for more strength and protection to continue his service to the patriotic people of Idemili South and humanity at large.

Also  Hon. Ebuka Igwe pledged to renovate classrooms, examination hall as well as plastering of fences and repainting of school gate of Girls Secondary school, Awka-Etiti.

The lawmaker made the pledge when he took the train of education tour to Girls Secondary school, Awka-Etiti and was received by the management of the school. 

He said, the school would be given face-lift to provide conductive academic environment for teaching and learning in the constituency.

Hon. Igwe took the opportunity to engage students, inspired them to continue to strive for success in their academic pursuits and lauded teachers for their efforts in moulding the minds of the students.

In her remarks, the Principal of Girls Secondary school, Mrs Nwamaka Eugenia Okoli appreciated Hon. Ebuka Igwe for his steadfast dedication and support towards education, adding that, he has done extremely well for the constituency.

The education tour was attended by Awka-Etiti APGA ward 2 Chairman, Mr. Innocent Ojukwu, and APGA Stakeholder, Chief Ifeanyi Okpala(Ononigwe), NPU President General Nnokwa Wing Command, Chief Joe Anyika, Engr. McGeorge Chukwuemeka, Ozo Nwike Ekechukwu, ward APGA Chairman, Comrade Ifeanyi Ukpaka, and LP ward Chairman, Mr. Ugochukwu Chukwuka.
