Anambra, Least In Southeast In Terms Of Infrastructural Development : APC Chairman

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Chief Basil Ejidike has accused the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) government of having underdeveloped the state since it took over power and that Anambra is currently the least state in the Southeast region in terms of infrastructural development.

Ejidike said Ebonyi State which was created just few years ago is now the pride of the Southeast because of the monumental achievements as well as infrastructural developments instituted by the APC government in the state.

He stated in very strong terms that the ruling APGA will die a natural death in 2025 as APC is coming to replicate another tsunami in the state.

He also disclosed that the immediate past governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, would join the APC.

Ejidike, while spoking in an interview maintained that it was not magic but what happened in Imo State recently would happen in Anambra State in 2025.

According to Ejidike, 2025 will be a turning point for Ndi-Anambra because the APC is coming with a master plan to rediscover and redeem the state from the shackles of underdevelopment, bad governance and maladministration as being exhibited by the APGA-led state government.

Ejidike said, “Now that Imo State Election is gone, Anambra will be the next focus. We have already started crossing our Ts and dotting our Is. You can see the efforts we are making by the attractions we are getting into our party in Anambra.

“And I want to say that between now and February 2024, we are likely going to attract more serious-minded people into the party.

“APGA is not taking Anambra State anywhere. Look at Ebonyi State that was established yesterday; can Anambra State compare with Ebonyi in terms of infrastructural development?

“Ebonyi State now has an airport, a medical university and a host of other things even though it is not an oil producing state. But just look at Anambra State simply because we are dealing with cult party called All Progressives Grand Alliance.”

Ejidike, who equally observed that the establishment of support groups have been the stock in trade of the present administration, said there was need to begin to think outside the box, stressing that he was happy with the outcome of the Imo state governorship election.

He added, “By the special grace of God that tsunami will touch Anambra State very soon. Tell me which political heavyweight in Anambra State is not in APC.

“With Uche Ekwunife, Ifeanyi Ubah, Olisa Metuh and others now joining the likes of Dr. Chris Ngige, Andy Uba, George Moghalu, Azuka Okwosa, Chido Nwankwo, Paul Chukwuma and others too, it will surely be a tsunami in 2025. The only thing remaining now is to spend some time to harmonise and to get people to understand that without winning elections, they are nowhere”.
