Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
Mrs. Oriel Helen while Speaking in an interview with newsmen after the meeting with Chairman Local Government Service Commission Barr. Vin Ezeaka, revealed that the one week training held recently
has impacted tremendously in terms of productivity.
Mrs. Oriel Helen who is the head of Orumba South local government area, together with other management team,
passed a vote of confidence on Ezeaka.
“We came to the local government service commission in solidarity and to debunk alot of rumours on social media against Barr. Vin Ezeaka.
” To the best of our knowledge, the Chairman Local Government Service Commission is doing well. He is transforming the system.
“He was accused of high jacking the money brought by Governor Chukwuma Soludo to share to workers during the local government service week.
“We have also debunk the allegations that we the management team were mandated to pay fine of five hundred thousand naira (500,000) by the commission, and we are saying that it is not true.
“What we did was a support to the magazine produced that time. Being our headquarters, we need to support them and we were not mandated to do so.
” The one week training has impacted tremendously in terms of productivity. This is a first of its kind. We have not had such experience before, since the inception of local government commission.
” We are happy that it was a success. That program was perfect. Instead of giving credit to whom deserves it, the whole thing was messed up.
” We commend Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his support in making sure the training was a success. He is the solution. His giant stride on road construction is commendable. He is doing well and we say kudos to him.
” We are very happy over the judgment of the Supreme Court on local government autonomy. Let them give us that opportunity’, She said.
