All the residents of Anambra State has been informed that the usual monthly environmental Sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday June 24th 2023.
In a release signed by Mr Mike Ozoemena, MD/CEO Anambra State Waste Management Authority, (ASWAMA) stated that the exercise will hold simultaneously in all the communities in Anambra State within the hours of 7am – 10am, and no form of vehicular or human movement will be tolerated within these hours.
Ozoemena urged all to join hands with thw Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s led administration to actualize a clean, green and livable Anambra for all.
Transition Committee Chairmen (TCC) of various Local Government Areas are enjoined to ensure proper mobilization and compliance in their areas.
Furthermore, ndi Anambra are urged to participate fully in the exercise; clean their surroundings, desilt water channels and properly bag their wastes for adequate collection and disposal by the waste management contractors.
