The Anambra State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,
Comdt. Maku Olatunde has advised junior personnel writing their promotion exams to believe in their own capabilities and exude confidence, urging them to trust in the knowledge and skills they have acquired.

Comdt. Maku stated this in Awka on Saturday 14th of September, 2024 while addressing the personnel at the Examination Venue in Awka.
He urged the candidates to approach the examination with a clear and level head, carefully considering each question before answering, while avoiding unnecessary stress and anxiety.
Comdt. Maku emphasized that the ultimate objective is not just to succeed in the exam, but to emerge as more competent, skilled, and effective officers, poised to make a positive impact in their roles.
As the NSCDC State Helmsman extended his best wishes to the candidates, he also reminded them to justify the trust and confidence placed in them, urging them to live up to the expectations and responsibilities that would come after the examination .
He said that the examination was a catalyst in shaping their career progression, expanding their knowledge and understanding of various aspects of paramilitary operations that would enhance their performance in operations.
Deputy Commandant Orji Ogbu, Head of Administration, welcomed the candidates and urged them to maintain the highest standards of behavior during the exams, stressing that the Corps strictly prohibits and condemns any form of examination malpractice, and expects all candidates to adhere to the principles of honesty and integrity.
