Anambra NULGE President Tasks Members On Ethical Conducts

The President, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Anambra State Chapter, Comrade Chikwelu Adigwe has called on their members to maintain regular exercises for a healthy living.

Comrade Adigwe who made the call at the ongoing 2023 NULGE Week holding in Abuja, said that regular exercise is critical and essential to the well-being of every individual, especially NULGE members that are always saddled with enormous responsibilities.

Comrade Adigwe who is the leader of Anambra contingent at the Abuja 2033 NULGE Week pointed out that the Union underscored the importance of exercise which is why various sporting activities were included into the NULGE week in order to keep the body and soul in proper shape.

He equally appealed to their members nationwide to take ethical conducts very seriously as their are certain levels of behaviours and professional conducts that are expected of them at all times, and commended NULGE members for being steadfast despite the unfavourable working conditions most of them find themselves across the country.

The Anambra NULGE President further joined his colleagues and other well meaning Nigerians to re-echoe the call for the full autonomy of the local government administration in Nigeria, as according to him, only an autonomous local government system would be able to discharge its functions as the third tier of government and function effectivelyl as the government closest to the people at the grassroots that can feel and respond to their pulse at all times.
