The Anambra State Police has described the death of her former spokesman, Haruna Muhammed as an irreparable loss to the entire Nigeria Police Force and his family members.
Haruna served as the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Anambra State Police Command between 11th May 2018 – 18th March 2021, during which he was elevated to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
Until his death, CSP Haruna was the second in Command of the State Intelligent Department (SID) of Gombe State Police Command.
In a statement released by his immediate successor in Anambra State and current PPRO, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the deceased has served in various capacities in the Force.
Ikenga prayed for the repose of his soul and for God to give his family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Similarly, journalists in the state took turns to mourn the departed police officer who related very well with media practitioners during his period as the PPRO in the state.
They described him as a consummate officer who knows his onions in the Force particularly in the area of police-media relations.####
