The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Mr Ossy Onuko says that residents of Awka Capital Territory and its environs will soon heave a sigh of relief on issues of potholes and gridlocks as the Authority is giving assurance of delivering quality palliative measures on some bad portions of roads.
The ACTDA Boss stated this during the process of providing palliative measures on bad portions of Enugu/ Onitsha express road ( from the foot of Amawbia bridge to Nawfia), Ogbalimgba round about axis of Eke Awka, among others.
Mr. Onuko also said that government is continuous, especially on areas that touches positively on citizens life, adding that a lot of bad portions of roads within the capital territory will be touched in order to ease movement for commuters, especially this yuletide.

Reacting on the development, a Keke driver, Mr. Ejike Mba, applauded the solution agenda and prayed that the Governor continues with the pace he is moving now in order to bring Anambra to the level befitting of her state.
Mr Onuko further said that the ongoing exercise will make the roads useable and decongested, especially at Amawbia flyover occasioned by drivers struggling to ply the one-way tarred lane of the Express way.
