The Chairman of iron dealers Association, Umuokpu market Awka, Mr. Sunday Nnebe has urged Anambra youths to shun the get rich quick syndrome and embrace
apprenticeship which is a system that has produced numerous millionaires.
The market leader while speaking with Angel Network News (ANN) in an exclusive interview in his office on Wednesday emphasized on dignity in labour.
“Youths should ignore the mindset of cutting corners and embrace apprenticeship and mentorship.
“Majority of the people in the market are sales persons. Youths of this days are not ready to submit to mentorship. The few of them that gave it a trial couldn’t endure to the end. It is really disturbing how the get rich quick syndrome has affected the system.
” There are many lessons learnt in apprentice. Its a school of thought and its obvious that promotion comes from God because every hustler has its pay day”. Nnebe submitted.
Also speaking on the importance of apprenticeship, the CEO of Ilonwa Ventures Ltd, dealers of building/plumbing material Mr. Nonso Ilonwa, encouraged youths both educated and those who didn’t get the opportunity to further their education to key-in into apprenticeship system.
In their separate interviews, Director Early MOMO Steel Ltd, dealers of building material, iron steel and pipes, Mr. Afam Aniekwe, General Manager, Onyebuchi Steel company, Mr. Onyebuchi Nweke (Ambassador) and Mr. Kenechukwu Mbamelu, commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his giant strides in Anambra State.
“Soludo has done well in security, infacstructural. And am hoping that his second tenue will be better. The Governor is God sent and deserves second tenure. He has created an enabling environment for business to strive in Anambra State.
The visit of ANN Chapel is in commemoration of its one year anniversary.
