Anaocha Mayor Flags-Off Water Borehole Project At Adazi-Ani

The Transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha Local Government Area, Mr. Gerald Ozoh has flagged off a water borehole at Community Primary School Adazi-Ani, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra state.

Ozoh while speaking said the project will be constructed by the council area and will be given to the pupils and teachers of the school including people around the area access to clean water supply

ANN reports that the TC Chairman during the occasion, also commissioned a block of six classrooms in the school renovated by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC, attracted by an indigene of the community, Chief Martins Ekwe.

 

Mr Ozoh while commissioning the block of classroom, commended NDIC and the facilitator of the project, Chief Ekwe on the initiative, saying that the gesture keyed into the public community private partnership philosophy of Governor Soludo and called on the people of the Community and Anaocha in general to get involved in building a better future for ndi Anaocha.

Ozoh noted that good water has great impact on healthy living. He encouraged the school to ensure good management of the facility for sustainability.

The TC Chairman thanked Governor Chukwuma Soludo for empowering him to execute the project and assured to continue working inline with the developmental policies and programmes of the present government in Anambra State.

 

The President General of Adazi-Ani Town Union, Barrister Ikechukwu Ezechukwu and the Manager of Community Primary School, Adazi-Ani, Rev. Fr. Michael Oguno while expressing their joy over the projects, thanked the state government and other benefactors and promised their co-operation to ensure the completion of the water borehole project.

ANN gathered that the water borehole project is expected to be completed within three weeks.
