Members of Angel Network News (ANN) Chapel under the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on Wednesday 9th July 2025 marked its first Anniversary.
It would be recalled that the ANN Chapel was inaugurated by the NUJ Chairman, Anambra State Council, Comrade Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, PhD in July 2024.
Speaking during its monthly meeting, ANN Chapel Chairman, Mr. Bonvera Ndubisi commended the members for their dedication, commitment, thanking God for the success recorded so far.
In their separate speeches. Prof. Stella Okunna, NUJ Vice President, South East Zone, Sir Emmanuel Ifesinachi and ANN General Manager, Dr. Ifeanyi Obiefuna urged members of the Chapel to maintain the tempo.
In commemoration of its first anniversary, ANN Chapel paid a courtesy visit to Umuokpu Iron Dealers Market Awka, and interacted with the executives and other traders.
During the visit, the traders emphasised the importance of apprenticeship, calling on Anambra youths to shun the get-rich-quick syndrome.
They commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his giant strides and for creating a conducive environment for business to thrive in Anambra State.
