ANIAS Commends Soludo, Urges Collaboration With Tinubu On Infrastructure Projects

The Association of Non-Indigenes Anambra State (ANIAS) has expressed appreciation to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, for warmly welcoming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the state during his recent visit.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
the association commended Soludo for his visible strides in the development of Anambra and urged him to further strengthen ties with the presidency to attract more transformative projects to the state.

In a statement, ANIAS President Prince Chigozie Nweke encouraged the Governor to use his esteemed office to forge a strategic alliance with President Tinubu for the realization of a railway project that will link Onitsha to Nnewi and extend to other manufacturing and commercial hubs within the state.

According to the group, this railway line will significantly boost economic transportation and enhance trade across the region.

The association also lauded Soludo for his commitment to service, describing him as a “workaholic” leader, and called on him to collaborate with ANIAS on its ongoing Database Project aimed at identifying and registering all non-indigenes legally residing and conducting business in the state.

The project, ANIAS said, was a crucial step toward improving revenue compliance and fostering inclusive development.

In their show of support for Soludo administration, ANIAS pledged to actively assist in enhancing security across the state. The group assured it would help identify criminal elements attempting to destabilize the peace and order of Anambra, noting that security is a collective responsibility.

Furthermore, the association urged the Governor to reopen discussions with President Tinubu regarding the long-abandoned Enugu-Onitsha dual carriageway. The less-than-120km road project, which links two major southeastern capitals, has remained incomplete for over two decades and continues to pose economic and logistical challenges for commuters and traders.

ANIAS reaffirmed its readiness to partner with the state government in all efforts aimed at sustaining peace, growth, and prosperity in Anambra State.
