Actress Annie Macaulay has covered the tattoo of her former husband’s name with a butterfly image, in a move seen as a personal step toward moving on.
The change was noticed in recent Instagram photos posted by the actress on Tuesday night. The original “Idibia” tattoo on her left chest, a reference to singer 2Baba (also known as 2Face Idibia), has been overlaid with the butterfly design.
The development comes roughly one and a half years after the couple’s controversial separation, which was publicly confirmed in early 2025 after nearly 12 years of marriage.
Macaulay had shared a post days earlier signalling her intention to move forward, according to reports. Fans online have largely interpreted the new ink as a symbol of transformation and healing.
