The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Anambra State lead by Mr. Ifeatu Obiokoye has inaugurated and issued certificate of office to Local Government Area (LGA) Chairmen of the party at the regional headquarters Awka.
APGA State Chairman Obiokoye urged them to be good ambassadors of the party. He called on the chairmen to hit the ground running through going down to the grassroot and spread the gospel of APGA.
He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the disruptive change currently witnessed across the state, stating that the coming election will be easy to win because of the performance of APGA.
Speaking to newsmen in an interview after the swearing-in, APGA Chairman Aguata LGA Hon. Vitalis Okeke describe Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as a giant.
In his words “The governor who is the leader of this party is doing a good job and whoever that is seeing what he is doing and refuse to appraise it positively, has a problem. Governor Soludo has started a cause that we are proud of. APGA is moving from strength to strength”.
Speaking to reporters APGA Chairman Anaocha LGA, Chief Anthony Maduabuchi Ugorji said with the performance of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, the party will continue to win election.
According to Ugorji “As APGA LGA chairmen, we will hit the ground running by going to the grassroots and mobilizing more members. Much is expected from me because Anaocha is a very big area with great politicians such as Mr. Peter Obi, Sen. Victor Umeh and Sen. Uche Ekwunife which means we have a huge work to do but my people voted for me because they know my capacity.
On his part, APGA Chairman Ekwusigo LGA Hon. Edwin Okeora said before now, his area use to have some of the major stakeholders belonging to other political parties, but now, APGA are having all the major stakeholders working for them now.
“Ekwusigo will delever hundred percent and we dont believe that we are going to fail. APGA will keep on winning because we are taking the massage down to grassroot. We will hit the ground running through creating structure in all kindrends and wards.
Chairman APGA in Ayamelum Mr. Vincent Udegbunam told journalists after the event that in the coming election, his team are going to work harder by making sure Soludo wins second tenure and that he intend to deliver this mandate by carrying party members along.
APGA Idemili North LGA Chief Lemmy Ekwo Ugonnia maintened that his aim of becoming LGA chairman is to make sure that theparty maintain its deminance during election.
“We have massive population and we decides who wins. Obosi alone is big enough to be a local government. APGA will win hundred percent in Idemili North.
APGA Chairman Njikoka LGA Hon. Brendy Chinedu Aniekwe expressed happiness assuring that he will not disappoint the confidence impossed to him.
“Am one of the foundation members of this party. I know how the hearts of my people beats because am always with them. I will deploy all my experiences, energy and abilites in service to ndi Njikoka because am the servant of the people. I intend to humble myself. I will open up the party and take it back to the people so the the party will blossom more. With the re-engineering and re-branding of APGA by the current leadership of the party, it is expected that in the coming election, their will be a very big difference”. Aniekwe submitted
APGA Chairman Nnewi North LGA Hon. Anthony Afam Modiluo said his area is amongst the most populated part of the state with many influencial personality.
“Nnewi North which is the business hub of Anambra State is very peculiar. They are not people you can convince with money easily accept with proven capacity. In the past weeks, Governor Soludo has visited Nnewi twice and he knows that road network is a priority to us. Am already trying to convince my people on the reasons they should join the ruling government.
APGA Vice Chairman Anambra Central Zone Mr. Nduka Okoye said with the achievements of Governor Soludo especially on road construction and youths empowerment as the next election will be hundred percent APGA.
APGA Deputy Chairman Anambra State, Prince Paul Uzor said APGA is Anambra and Anambra is APGA.
“We believe in one people, one state, one agenda. APGA will deliver. Governor Soludo is fixing the roads and bringing new ideas. Our result in the last national election was not very good, but this time, the message is clrar because we are going to turn the table.

Chief Mofunanya Ikechukwu said the performance of Governor Soludo has giving APGA edge over other parties. The state is been re-branded. In less than two years, five thousand teachers have been employed with many signed MOU at the recently 2023 summit. Over five hundred kilometers of roads have been awarded. The disruptive change is clear and with the re-branding of the party, the coming election is considered won.
