…as Ubah inaugurates committees for Solar lightsÂ
The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, received a major shock in Akpo, Aguata LGA, Saturday, December 3, as their foremost youth mobilizer in Aguata, Hon. Valentine Ezeuchegbu, Son of God, decamped to Young Progressives Party, YPP. Ezeuchegbu who is also known as the youth commander left with over 5000 APGA faithfuls who are his staunch followers.
Receiving him, the YPP leader, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah was full of praises for Ezeuchegbu. Ubah decried the injustice against Chief Ezeuchegbu and promised him that his political aspirations will be fulfilled in YPP.
He explained that the committee set up to supervise the installation of solar lights would ensure the lights are set up at market places, worship centres and Flashpoints in all the wards in Aguata.Â
On his part, Honorable Valentine Ezeuchegbu thanked his teeming supporters for keeping faith with him.
He disclosed that the APGA leadership wanted a puppet they would control and that was why he was denied Aguata 1 House of Assembly ticket twice despite all his sacrifices for the party.
Earlier, the YPP flag bearer for Aguata FEDERAL House of Representatives, Hon. Emmanuel Ezeokafor, explained that other committees will be set up in the coming weeks to oversee football competition that will involve members of all wards in Anambra South
Highpoints of the event were the sharing of sewing machines, electric fans, and other items to the multitude in attendance and swearing in of members of the committee selected from all the wards in Aguata.
